David Gallant is globally recognized as the industry’s thought leader for the virtualization and automation of SAP. David developed the best practices for virtualizing SAP on VMware’s Software Defined Data Center (SDDC) technologies. While at VMware, he and his team helped many customers achieve outstanding outcomes with virtualizing SAP on VMware whether on-premises or in the cloud. He led the engineering effort responsible for creating products and solutions to automate the provisioning and management of SAP and brought to market the VMware Adapter for SAP LaMa and the Private cloud solution. Prior to VMware, David was SAP’s Global Technical Architect for Virtualization. He introduced virtualization to SAP and architected private and public cloud solutions for SAP, including the Active Global Support cloud for 1000+ engineers spanning 3 major datacenters around the world. David has architected the largest, most complicated enterprise architectures of SAP on VMware solutions globally.
